The Bikini Inspector Has Spoken

"Oh, oh, I don't think so.

You are NOT wearing that out are you?

Turn around." [motions with paw]

[suspicious head tilt] "Oh no, no no no no."

Danielle L., THIS is what happens if you don't listen to the inspector: Aieee!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 03:50 PM

Ugh. Donatella or not Donatella, she ought to know better at her age.

Listen to the puppy! Baroo!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 03:51 PM

It's cold and snowy here right now and snuggling up with this pup would be heavenly.

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 04:11 PM

That has got to be the cutest puppy EVAR!!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 04:21 PM

I'm having a hard time reconciling the adorableness of the puppy with the bile in my mouth from clicking the link.

[which isn't meant to sound, nuffy, mind...]

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 04:23 PM

Puppalishus! Baroo!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 04:33 PM

I'll go with the one-piece, then... And I agree, there is seriously a problem with the "figure" in the linkage. Go there, if you dare... or not.

Puppy = very Qte.
Donatella = OMG, get that woman a towel!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 05:54 PM

It's all about the sandy splayed toes.

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 06:27 PM

I know you guys!! when I saw this little guy he was all love... not even nibbling the way puppies do... he was super camera shy so this shot made me happy! ;)

I love CO, and I love looking at adorable puppies. I have no idea why you chose to bring ridiculing women's bodies for being unappealing into this. Not only is it irrelevant, but it's distasteful. Thanks Meg, for making CO mean-spirited and catty.

Need to nuzzle white chest immediately.

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 07:50 PM

To Sandra S. and anyone else feeling disappointed...
First, I don't think inspector puppy is meant to be unkind--just concerned about too moishe
expo-sh. The most perfect body can look laughable to some with over-expo-sh...
Second, the elderly lady in the pix is certainly not Donatella, who is only
53. You know, sometimes advanced age loses judgement or realistic view, and we need to treat that person with understanding--even though it is sad.
Third, our culture has, I think, gone overboard about perfection and exposure. I feel sorry for celebrities who are so concerned with physical perfection that they write
weight and measurement requirements into their
pre-nuptial agreements. Without genuine love and regard for one's partner, the "beautiful people" become bored with one another, always seeking a new partner who measures up to those perfect standards.
Four (and, I promise, last)
Love and respect work for me. A little cover-up turns me on. Endless pictures of perfect bodies
matter less than endless hours of caring about each other, sharing laughs and
beliefs, missing one another when apart, helping each other work towards a goal.

The Bikini Inspector is lucky he's so cute!

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 09:58 PM

Sandra S., did you click the link?

 |  Jan 10, 2009 at 10:08 PM

Cute Puppeh! So chocolatty and very sweet, I'm sure. I wonder if s/he likes the water...s/he looks like a chocolate Lab to me!

While Donatella has the RIGHT to wear what she wants, but just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Her skin is awfully close to the Dermatologist-on-call stage, no? Poor thing- she probably didn't count on being photoed, either, I hope. Good Lord.......

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 06:41 AM

AIEE! It's Scrappy Doo! XD
(That look in the second pic says it all)

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 06:49 AM

AWWWWW!!! He can ground me for wearing a bikini anytime!

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 06:58 AM

as for the Donatella pix...she kinda deserves the shiznit she gets. she certainly LOVES to dish it out.

her own daughter has been suffering from crippling eating disorders since she was THIRTEEN! and she's extremely vocal and obnoxious like Lagerfeld about how distasteful she finds "fat people" and the like.

she needs to be taken down a notch.

or twenty.

frickin' tasteless, talentless old hag still ridin' her brother's coattails over a decade later.....

*grumble grumble*

i mean, wha? PUPPEH!!!! EAR NOMMAGE! i think i will just have a little cronshe on the ears...

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 08:26 AM

Yay for puppeh!!!!!!!!!

A resounding "Ewwwwww" for *whoever* that is wearing that bikini! As a fat woman, I developed a phrase for myself (and others I see), "Just because they'll SELL it to you doesn't mean you should WEAR it!"

I think there should probably be age limits on bikinis, at least in public. Pretty much limited to under 30, unless you've been hired for the SI Swimsuit Issue!!!

Gasp! That puppy is precious!

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 09:37 AM

For the record, folks, that's NOT Dontatella in the link. It's apparently an Italian countess who lives on St. Bart's. Who still ought to know better.

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 02:05 PM

That's right! How dare a woman wear clothing she likes? Doesn't she know that she has an obligation to be PRETTY?

Chocolate lab puppy--with
sprinkles, please.

This reminds me--I'd like to take our dog "Tony" on a trip with us to the beach.

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 05:19 PM

Ugh, could've done without the beef jerky in the bikini photo. But puppehs are always cute!

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 07:20 PM

wuv da bebe....so prosh i go kerplop. want to play too...love choco labs. especially the baby kind

 |  Jan 11, 2009 at 07:25 PM

What an adorable little puppy!!! He needs to be scooped up and nuzzled!!!

 |  Jan 12, 2009 at 07:19 AM

Sandra, it's not a matter of being pretty. It's a matter of pretending to be 18 when you're clearly not.

 |  Jan 12, 2009 at 04:28 PM

IF I may, are we discussing modesty? HMM? Well there are times when modesty is appropriate. Tiny little bikinis are generally for the young and the shapely, yes. But, as you can clearly see, this lady has been in the sun a lot, and perhaps she doesn't realize what the sun has done to her skin. Seriously.
I'd love to hear what the concept of 'modesty' means to people! I think it is the realization that some styles of clothing are more appropriate than others for certain events or time, but the lady is at the beach, and it is probably her beach, so I guess this picture is out of my 'jursdiction'!

 |  Jan 13, 2009 at 06:25 AM

This is my future PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

 |  Feb 11, 2009 at 02:10 PM

Hey. If you aren't fired with enthusiasm, you will be fired with enthusiasm.
I am from France and now teach English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "How to draw robots and aliens the results of price comparing various online bookstores for this book."

With best wishes ;-), Jina.
