This octopus is such a chick!

Check out this 'eyelashed', small-moufed, pink CHICK!

She's all; "Step aside and watch me text eight people at once, Bitches!"

She (He?) looks just like Nemo's octopus school buddy.

Awww, you made me ink!!!!!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 05:46 AM

Is it weird that I want to nom that octopus?

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:03 AM

Oh, a real octopussy? That is a very delicate operation - to use the eyelash curlers on her mini-tentacles. She looks all pink and frilly though. So cute!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:04 AM

She's all glittery!!

and LOL at the 'auwww, you made me ink' comment. LOL (I nearly choked on my soda!)

Sweet pink octopus
your tentacles wave softly
embraced by the sea.

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:06 AM

It's Hello Kitty's octopus friend Squishy-kun!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:06 AM

I too want to nom that octopus, it looks delightfully chewy, like pink bubble gum.

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:11 AM

momof2kitties-"You made me ink!" *snerk!*

Such a sugary looking treat!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 06:44 AM

Much cuter than the ones that get thrown onto the ice at the Joe Louis Arena.

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:02 AM

OMG! Could it be any cuter?

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:10 AM

Are we sure that the Japanese didn't create this in a secret super-cute-making laboratory?

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:19 AM

I seriously thought this was a plushie at first - just for a second. :)

Is that covered in glitter or just my imagination...

Oh sorry just my imagination...

Lisa Frank anyone.

Calamari jokes on the next aisle! Until we get a cute squid, we're just going to have to stick to octy jokes.

Such a cute little thing, but she does look a little angry...like someone hasn't picked up around the coral reef. She's looking at you, with the eight tentacles. Did you pick up the little ones from anemone school? No? Shame on you for forgetting your own children in the open sea - we're endangered!

I have no idea whether these things are endangered, my mind just wandered into a marital-type conversation in which mom squid and dad squid are arguing, and perhaps mom squid also looks like a baby alien from the Alien movies...so this has turned into "aw cute" to "don't. eat. me!"

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:43 AM

Hey ding! I love your haiku!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:46 AM

Looks just like a mochi! I want to nom some octopus shaped treat!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:54 AM

I don't even like pink things very much -- but on an octopus it is TOO KEEYUTE.

Also, I like to imagine that though this octopus looks like it might be tiny, it's actually FIFTY FEET TALL and tippy-toeing her way through the streets of NY!!!

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 07:57 AM

kultgirl: you could always knit or crochet one... :D

Or have one knit/crochet for you!

Sweet! It was so much fun last time Meg said bitches.

@ Bean: Hey, I have the same shirt as your wife. "Tuesday's Gonna Be Rough" I wore it yesterday.

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 10:29 AM

I see I'm not the only one who immediately thought of "Finding Nemo" ...

 |  Dec 03, 2008 at 10:41 AM

It looks almost delicately fuzzy... or frosted with that crackly frost that adorns windows where it's cold enough (not here, though). I'm sure there's a name for it - but it's been 20 years since I lived where it snows.

@Mary The 1st: I know exactly who you mean.....yes, I've watched too much Star Trek. (Dammit, Jim, I'm a doctor not a marine biologist!) Chalk up another reason for my spinsterhood (besides not knowing the "mistletoe rules" laid out in the previous post)!!
