I agree with fuguemonkey. Very eloquently put. Also, for a split second I thought that kitten was FLOATING. Then I realized he was holding on to a bottle. Regardless, it's still a great photo.

 |  May 21, 2008 at 11:07 PM

just LOOK at that little belly!

*dies from cuteness overload*

 |  May 21, 2008 at 11:10 PM

 |  May 21, 2008 at 11:23 PM

I want a floating kitty!!!!

And I second (third) the thought about Meg (and Theo!). After the recent tragedy in my life, CO has been a great refuge of joy. Every post and the enthusiasm of the community here is a real lift in my day. Thanks to you ALL.

Splayed toesies! Ehn!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 12:07 AM

Its not that the kitteh is holding onto the bottle, if you look closely the hand of the 'bean that is not holding the bottle is infact, holding onto the scruff of the neck of poor hungry kitteh. So is this kitteh desperately holding onto the bottle...is its bean trying to prevent it from falling?

 |  May 22, 2008 at 12:16 AM

I'm hoping the intent was to be supportive incase of a fall and not to be mean....either way its obvious by the big tummy that the kitteh is loved. :)

 |  May 22, 2008 at 12:21 AM

Thanks for brightening my days. You are doing a marvelous job. Thanks for all your hard work!

What a lovely little belly! How sweet.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 04:34 AM

So unbelievably cute! Maybe she is just being held that way for the picture? I mean, how can you not cuddle a little baby like that?

 |  May 22, 2008 at 04:36 AM

That kitteh has some long toesies!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 05:19 AM

Puddy-tat is being held by the shoulder and front leggie, under the armpit, not the scruff of the neck.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 05:21 AM

Scientists have proven that snorgling into the belly of this baby kitteh cures cancer, heart disease, arthritis, the plague, tooth decay, and the blues.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled work day.

Carrot tail! Chicken leg! Must have eet!!!!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 05:59 AM

Wow. She's a "milk tick"!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 06:13 AM

Wow, my pic made it to cute overload!!! My daughter was holding the kitten like that (under front leg and around kitty's back) for a couple of reasons: 1. Kittens that age claw your hands like crazy while they are trying to hold on the the bottle (I have newfound respect for mama cats). 2. My daughter (who is feeding the kitten) had just been peed on by the previous kitten while feeding him.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 06:26 AM

That kitteh alone is just too beautiful, but I didn't know she could fly, too. All in the name of milk!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 06:29 AM

Giant head, poke-able belleh and carrot tail!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 06:37 AM

Squeeeeeeearama! Look at those perfectly pointed pawsies!

Hey, Peanutschick, great name!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 07:23 AM

 |  May 22, 2008 at 07:49 AM

first: a public servic message: If anyone in Toronto wants to feed kittens volunteer at the Toronto Humane society - I feed Friday am and we are so so short of volunteers it is all feeding and no time for cuddling
second: am deds from the cute

 |  May 22, 2008 at 07:53 AM

Wow, I thought these were kitty versions of power chin-ups or something! But regular feeding is good too. Love his little comma tail.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 08:00 AM

Calico kitten! I MUST HAVE EET!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 08:03 AM

Oh my goodness, I knew I wouldn't be the first to spot that adorable little belly. Lol about the *reasons* kitty is being held away from the body in question.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 09:29 AM

Torties and calicos all in one day ... my brain is fried by the multicolor cuteness. Must go home to recover. Now.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 09:48 AM

Kitty says: "I don't give a damn how you hold me just as long as you FEEEED MEEEEEE!!!!"

 |  May 22, 2008 at 09:48 AM

Juno, I was about to write the same thing!
Cute kitty.
I'm fairly new to the posting, but I have been looking at CO for a year or so, I guess. Now that I'm a fairly regular poster, I really do enjoy the comments and the photos. Lots of times the comments enhance Meg's already brilliant titles and mouseovers! And Theo is just excellent at providing great editorial additions. Could it get any better????? :o)

 |  May 22, 2008 at 10:06 AM

I've bottle-fed a number of kittens, and never seen them do that. Quite amazing.I have no children, but I think that bottle-feeding a kitten is just beautiful :)

 |  May 22, 2008 at 10:43 AM

Boy what a love fest going on here. I lurves CO too. Lets hold hands and sing kumbaya!

 |  May 22, 2008 at 12:28 PM
