Reminds me of my Opie! Great picture, he seems really laid back to let you get a camera that close. He says, "Whatever. Let me go back to sleep."

maymee
 |  Oct 31, 2007 at 08:24 AM

this kitteh is not fat.
1-it is just a bad camera angle.
2-the lighting is all wrong.
3-the outfit makes him "look " big boned.
4-the make-up man had it in for him that day.
5-he was a little "puffy" from too much salt last night (sardines and margaritas).
6-bad hair day, too much product.

And that's just a-what I'm gonna do.

Ooh love, to kiss ya,

Susan
 |  Oct 31, 2007 at 10:29 AM

I had a cat at one time that would practically climb in the pumkin and eat it thank god it never ate the seeds.
It was always a fight so to speak the carver of the pumkin or the cat, but it was always funny.

I call this one "Marmie Fluffitude in Repose." It's a high-contrast, low-angle kind of thing, taken just after my kittie had eaten my pot pah. NO KITTIE THAT'S A BAD KITTIE.

Speaking of cat heads and pumpkins, we had a funny-in-retrospect incident with my childhood cat, Mittens (white-footed gray tabby polydactyl). He had a real sweet tooth. My little sister had one of those plastic pumpkins with a handle for trick-or-treating, and it was full of candy. This was in the old days when we didn't know how dangerous some people foods could be for kitties.

Mittens stuck his head in there to eat some candy, and the handle went around his neck. Picture Ichabod Kitteh. He *freaked* out. Ran up the stairs, through the living room, knocked over a lamp -- it sounded like there was an earthquake. Of course, later when he'd gotten it off, he acted as though nothing had happened. Kittehs.
