Clearly kitty is being pulled under the covers by the Evil Duvet Monster. This, people, is why you should always close your closet door before turning the lights out. Think of the kitties, please.

There is also an eerie simularity to the 'laundry bag' kitteh of a couple months back.

She's clearly on the hunt for teh ebil under the covers foot monster that must be pounced upon and given kicky-kicks!! Where is it?!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:31 AM

Obvy, TJ, these folks cannot read between the covers...;-)

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:37 AM

...follow Theo's link and find picture #172. Up close Kitteh tongue, with icecream!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:38 AM

I think I laughed more at the caption than at the cat. But the cat's pretty good too!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:41 AM

All I can think of is the movie Poltergeist and the clown under the bed...

Sorry 'bout that. The kittie sure is cute, if a little creepy.

Kris NE -- you've just described ALL cats.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:47 AM

I has TEH T0NG3!!! Booyaaahhhh. http://imreallysad.com/544

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:51 AM

Theo - do you mean they are diabolical beasts intent on pulling you into the underworld?

Or that they are creepy but cute?

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:53 AM

I just present the evidence. It's up to you to decide.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:55 AM

Oh, no! It's ... it's ... Ker-AZY Eyes!!

My cat does this, too. I swear, her eyes spin around in her head, and she does this Berserker thing, pretending to rip the hell out of my arm, while keeping her claws sheathed and exerting no tooth pressure. But the tail lashes, and the eyes spark Ker-AZY Fire!!!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:58 AM

cat. under. covers.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 11:59 AM

Theo - seems like they are a little of both.

Diabolical and cute - what a combo!

I love the weight of the duvet pressing down on the ears and pulling up the forehead for crazed kitty eyes!!

A Fine Morsel
 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:09 PM

My cat pees on my blankets and comforters.

I don't understand why she does that to me. It makes my feelings sad. Sometimes she pees on my clothes, and I go to work and people tell me I smell, and I realize she struck again.
Really hurts my feelings.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:26 PM

LOL. the duvet is giving birth to eyes-nose-paws! lurv it.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:27 PM

"OK, OK - I pulled the tag off the blanket; now do I have to go in hiding?"

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:29 PM

Ummmm, Bery Bery Qute?

Meg, enlighten us!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:36 PM

brad, your cat hates your girlfriend.

suggest u put it to sleep now (unless you too hate your gf).

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:36 PM

Finn's just bitter 'cos there was no pit at the last Nails gig. (And her cats are snorgoyles.)

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:40 PM

brad: maybe your kitty just likes über clean litter box?
my isis lets me know exactly when i'm pass due for scooping out the ol' box.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:41 PM

Hey, Brad--my old kitty used to do that when she was mad at me for not spending enough time with her. Upshot--I had to close the bedroom door ALL the time, even when I was at home. That way I didn't have to worry about "surprises." She was a sweet girl, just very old and needy. Try closing up the bedroom. Or a pet psychic. I did that too.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:41 PM

interesting theory, kariboo. what is "litter box"?

theo luv, it's impossible to leave a nails show bitter. bitten, maybe, but not never bitter.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:48 PM

and two negatives don't make a positive.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:49 PM

#1. BBQ? can someone enlighten me?

#2. brad, if you're being serious, one suggestion: pick up your clothes off the floor/bed/wherever, so she can't get to them to pee on them! then, get her to the vet to be sure she doesn't have a urinary tract infection, bladder infection, or other medical problem.

#3. kitteh!!!!11

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:49 PM

PROOF that there's a monster in the bed keeping you from climbing out from under the covers in the morning. Poor kitling doesn't stand a chance unless she invokes the feline nap ability. The only way out is to hit the snooze alarm and hope the monster loses interest.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 12:53 PM

DLT-- See Urban Dictionary entries on BBQ. Like most coined-this-week usages, it's *certainly* not IOTTMCO ("Intuitively Obvious To The Most Casual Observer")!!

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 01:00 PM

Kinda Children of the Corn-ish. "I look cute, but really, I want to eat your SOUUUL!"

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 01:11 PM

He looks like he's sneaking up on some tasty bunny slippers

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 01:16 PM

That cat totally reminds me of Snooch from Two Lumps. See?

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 01:26 PM

That cat looks like he's sneaking up on something all right. I say sign him up for the green beret! And then put him on stuffonmycat.com!

Awwww.... look at that little pink nose of doom.

 |  Jun 21, 2006 at 01:49 PM

Good god, it's like that moment in "The Grudge" when the creepy woman comes up from under the covers...
