So sweet.<3
i don't normally like siamese but AWWWW that's reaaaalllly cute
hmm it didn't take my comment... so I'll now say this... AWWWWW Fuzzy wuzzy wittle boo boo headed kitteh witteh poo poo head!
oops :)
Which reminds me, I was in a bookstore today, here in suburban Tokyo, and among the 2009 monthly cat calendars for sale has one of photos of cats and kittens in bowls.
That's it: 12 months of cats and kittens in bowls. One cat in a bowl, two cats in a bowl, three cats in two bowls...
she's like a skinny, serene, polite Winston (w/o smoosh face). How sweet. :)
Calton: That's nuthin'! There's a whole website of pics of cats in sinks, known as (oddly) "Cats in Sinks." See: http://catsinsinks.com/
(sorry--guess I don't know how to make a live link here.)
Back to our programming: I call matchinks! Cat and sink, of course. And I have tuxes-type-kittehs. Know where I could find a matchinks sink for dem?
Erm, OK, guess I did make a link . . .
That bathroom is so clean and tidy! That's a thing of beauty, to say nothing of the cat!
Can we get these designer kitties for home? I'd want two. One problem, one of our bathrooms is pepto-bismal pink (not our choice!). What do you recommend?
@AmyJ: I suggest going with a contrasting kitteh, brown with pink is good and of course, black or white with pink is a classic look!
I sure hope the Embassy Suites hotel I'm headed to this week has "adopted" (hah!) this idea!!!!
Okay, I really have to object now-
I didn't get any kittehs the last time I stayed at a hotel, I didn't get any in my file cabinets at work (I've spoken to my boss about this) and I certainly didn't get any extra ones with my last IKEA purchase. What's the deal? Is this only happening in certain states?
I feel so cheated.
Sink kitties are an essential component of all trendy hotel ammenities! There's nothing like a lovely purr while performing daily ablutions and the watering of the kitty from the tap is always an essential and necessary personal grooming practice.
@Calton - guess you haven't seen the video on NicoNico called "nekonabe". Like 8 minutes of kitties sleeping in nabe pots.
I adore this kitty. When I stay at this hotel, I'm so sneaking this into my luggage, along with the freebie shampoos, lotions and the mints on the pillows.
I am quite upset by this picture. I work at a bed & breakfast, and shall be petitioning my boss to see when our shipment of designer sink kitties will be arriving.
cute kitty!!
I just got my two new kittens last night.. Misha and Sasha... Sasha is grey with stripes and some orange.. and Misha is almost entirely black with a little orange on her face and chest.. I will put pictures of them up on my myspace if anyone wants to see them.. JackisGreen is my user name.. :-D
I'm in ur sink, cloggin ur pipez.
I'm a Hampton Inn kinda gal, except for that one time we stayed at the Four Seasons in Chicago--ultra swanky!! And the Boca Resort & Spa in Florida was pretty swank, too. A girl could get used to that kind of treatment in a hurry.
I have NEVER had a sink kitteh in my hotel room. Is that only for AmEx platinum card holders?
Umm... What does insantitized mean?
Oh well, very cute kitty makes up for my confusion!
This totally needs to be in matchingks! Look at kitty's fur and the counter top--it's the same pattern!
This is so cute! kitty looks so natural, like he belongs there!

I know that in NYC most hotel rooms come with some kind of living creature, but it usually doesn't have fur.
[sigh]
Sorry about the double post...
Oh, this would so get an excellent review from me on hotels.com...
LOL Berthaservant!! Actually some of those creatures do have fur but most people wouldn't like to see them in their sink...
First Gail, thanks for the tips! We have a black and white but even he doesn't like the pink bathroom. Oh well, someday we'll have the time and money to retile it.
Mai blew sink haz a kalikat innit. Sumtymez it haz a goldun tabberz innit insted. Nevuhr at teh saim tyme, thoe.
Mai deesynur sink in mai last haowss hadda tortleshellular kittoon innit.
Where ? where is this hotel ??
no Cuteinental in these parts... :(
@AmyJ - get a tortoiseshell. They're like the jeans of cats, they go with anything. Mine blends into my area rugs so well we trip on her.
Do not get rid of the pink bathroom. It's retro!
What the heck? Cute by body shop?
Lavender body wash, jasmine shampoo and conditioner, washington cherry lipbalm, aloe scented tissues and best of all, lilac siamese kitteh.
I have a 1950's dentist-office-green bathroom there are no Dentist-office-green kittehs.
Insanitize- to be insan of course. To have left a roll or two behind at the picnic, not quite thinking clearly enough for the modern gal on the go; to have crept up on the kitchen luurkensproinger and come out without one's glasses, which is what you went in there for in the first place- you know, insan.
Kitteh sez "I bleev you're in mah complimentary bathrobe."
kitty in sink much better than mints on the pillows
I don't think Lilac-point Siamese are really lilac-scented, unless there's been some genetic engineering 'breakthrough' I'm unaware of.
So that's definitely a siamese kitty, not one of those ragdolls? Because THAT'S exactly what the stray kitten I've been feeding around the corner looks like. Though his sibling is black and white and his momma is grey.
That babycat makes me want to vomit happiness. Too cute!!
Wow, such a beautiful kitty! cute expression too!
Bev - good thought about the tortoiseshell! (But I'll still fantasize about changing the color - that bathroom is seriously pink!)
Katrina - sounds like you and I have the same problem with our retro bathrooms. Should we go with the black and white or the tortoise? Or maybe one of each?
I'll take it! And then I'll put it in my duffel bag along with the miniature shampoos and complimentary soap!
@chanpon: Oh good lord, there are:

of Cats in Bowls
Hmm, I've got an old nabe pot I'm not using at the moment. If I left it outside, maybe I could lure in a Japanese cat in need of nabepothab...
Aw, RAY, that's what I was
going to say...I think you said it better...Maybe CATS IN BOWLS would be a nice gift item from a delivery service. Bowls in a variety of colors (including retro)would brighten any bathroom.
"I am so not gunna let you lose that ring down the sink, jus work around me kay? , iz my job."
Those faucet knobs...SO TEMPTING! i know, i'm a bad, bad person
The floor is (gulp) black and white small tiles in an imporrssible-to-describe pattern.
I think the tortie-one does want a bit of color to offset the whole inevitable oral hygeine image, but the towels will be a nightmare! Does anyone make black towels? It is worth a look.
Oh, wait if we get black towels, if they exist, and have the tortie roll around on them BEFORE putting them out- perfect match- problem solved! Thanks, Amyj
Awww... little baby face! I want a kitten in my sink at the next hotel i stay at! ;)
All set, Katrina! Yes, Target has black towels (believe it or not). Must find tortiecat immediately and wrap her up in them to complete the decor!
Katiedid-congratulations! Are these you first puddy-tatts? How are they doing today? Where did they sleep last night-not to be toooo personal or anything.
News, we want news!
AmyJ- you first; I can't have puddies, my husband and younger son will suffer greatly. So, mine have to be virtual puddies. I'll be with you in spirit! (Black towels must look pretty handsome, huh?)
Katrina - I suppose you do have to think of your husband and son, unless you'd consider trading them for newer cat-tolerant models...
Meanwhile I think black towels might look darn good in our pink bathroom. And they sure won't show dirt! I'll have to convince my husband about the tortie, he seems to think our current two kitties are sufficient. (But sweetie, we need it for bathroom decor!)
AmyJ- I feel your pain.
New cat-tolerant models, hmmm. Well you now the most expensive time for any Boss is the training time and I've put a whole lot of training time into these two... training new ones in this economy? Maybe, no, no, I wouldn't.
If Kohler or whatever bath fixture manufacturer doesn't include a puddy-tat in its next fancy four-color sink brochures, it is missing out on a whole lot of purchases!
Please excuse this almost entirely UN-CUTENESS related comment.
Thoroughly had fun with the suggestion/ idea of "newer, cat-tolerant models". It put me in mind, of a comment that I heard recently. A friend smiled & described the spouse as being "Not only cute, but functional, too". Hope this isn't one where I'm the last person on Earth who didn't already know the line.
(No tomatoes, pleeez)
