Damn, no bleen.

[...yeah, so? http://www.cafepress.com/puddinghockey - Ed.]

That's impressive. The "wild hair" episodes usually comes on so quick, that picture taker must have lightning quick reflexes to catch a shot during the shift. Well done, now HEAD FOR THE HILLS, it will all be over soon!

what was your first clue? the prisoner number on his collar from the local lockup?

That's one cute, big-eared kitty. He looks very playful.

What's with some people's agonising over getting a "bleen"? Is that a life mission or something? Give it rest, folks!

Aww, I'd take him if I hadn't already adopted. He looks like a little monster though...

My cats came from the bide-a-wee in manhattan! They're so great, and they even called me like two years later to check up on how they were doing!

Love, love LOVE psycho kittens! My darling old 17-yr-old Stinky was the world's greatest psycho kitten. He did the greatest version of the kitty-haka -- you know when they get all bristly and their eyes bug out, and they kind of sproink! sproink! sproink! around on stiff little legs?

1. i think the top picture may be a game of toe-mice

2. there are qwazy kittehs in all the world's animal shelters. GO GET ONE NOW!

Great stripes on this guy!
Our cat, Bob, is also a tiger stripe. When we first got him one of the names we considered giving him was Radar, because his ears were so huge compared to the rest of him!
P.S. I like the black spot on Victor's left foot!

Meg -- may I suggest that the webpage have two subpages of feline specialties: The Winston Page & [this guy; have we been informed of his name? If so I must have been too blinded by his silly psycho cuteness to notice ...] This one very nearly equals Winston in eccentric wonderfulness.
Thanks.

This kitten isn't crazy. Victor is clearly a champion "Get The Wrinkle" player.

"Go, Speed Racer

I can already see an Anime Series on the horizon about Ninja Kitteh, the Kitteh Who Never Sleeps!

He really does have pointy ears! Cute!

Katrina
 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 09:50 AM

Does anyone know why cats do this? Do big cats do it in the wild, too?

Katrina
 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 09:50 AM

I think it's just hunting instincts, Katrina. So, yes.

Theo
 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 09:53 AM

These pics should be part of an "adopt older cats" campaign. People love kittens but like this one they are a handful!

JNO
 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 09:55 AM

Do any of you have cats that chase their tail? Just run around in circles real fast? It's hilarious. Dogs may fall over and hit stuff when they do that, but cats are beyond that so they can go even faster!

Erebella
 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 09:58 AM

These pictures have only confirmed what I stated in the other post.

I am in love with this kitteh.

I have a marmie kitten that is doing exactly this every morning at 4 am. My big toes (and sleep pattern) are paying for it!

 |  Jul 16, 2008 at 10:11 AM

Last night I served as a giant cat toy to just such a wild-eyed tabby beastie at my local shelter. When the mayhem ended, she flopped on my lap, exhausted, and I got to examine all the little kitten parts. Big bleen!

My Philo, whose markings are very similar to Victor's, goes through frenzies of biting his own back feet and kicking himself in the head. He also lies on the floor in what we call his "land mine" impression and waits for innocent feet to walk by.

Still think he looks a little tense. Needs to learn to chill.

[No worries, that comes with time. Like, ten years. - Ed.]

This little kitty has TROUBLE written all over him. Adopter must wear boots at all times and not move while sleeping.

Thanks to Senor Theo for the addresses to other pages & -- gee whiz -- for such immediate responsiveness!! Four minutes later -- we are impressed & (again) appreciative.

[Like I said earlier in a different thread, I'm *professional* now. You're welcome... - Ed.]

He is ADORABLE and I hope everyone who thinks so adopts one (or more) of the adorable tabby kittens OR CATS desperately needing loving, forever homes in shelters across the land!

Aww, I got my Polly from Bide-a-Wee in Manhattan 10 years ago. She still occasionally gets this look.

The nice thing about pix of kittens in shelters is that you can safely assume they are adopted by the time the photo's uploaded to the 'net. That little kitty is adorable and a handful!

I'm sure he's really a good kitten at heart -- he just got led astray by comic violence. (the one character really looks like him, too ...) http://lackadaisy.foxprints.com/comic.php?comicid=49

He's a manic-cat! I have one of these, his name is Fox. He's 10 and hasn't slowed down much at all, really.
