AWWWW...he's kind of uncomftubuhls..
Aww bubble kitteh!
Kyootest bleening plumbin' problem I evah had.
Wow, he's not even doing the standard kitteh toe splay of displeasure!
BUBBLY TOES!!! :D
OMG, luv de kitty relaxing in the tub just laying there chillin out.... With widdle pink toesies popping out of the water...
Now this is a mellow kitty who doesn't actually seem too unhappy in the bath...
OK, how much nip did they give that kitteh to make him enjoy him bath?
Soapy beans!!! I want to kees the soapy beans!!!
*runs off before nuffing can begin*
The Kitteh only looks relaxed 'cause he's eye-balling the juicy veins on the exposed wrist.
Aw, heehee. Kitteh don't mind. I agree, Caitlin, the bubbly toes are the greatest. :)
are you alright, Margie?
Bubbley-toes, too!
He looks like he's enjoying his bath. Just relaxing, head held out of the world....no worries!
I meant "head held out of the water"
@260Oakley: LOL!!!
This pic should carry a warning label, "DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME"!!!!
*purrrgle*
They really do talk like that in central Minnesota. See also "spendy" and "hot dish".
[What, you mean like St. Cloud? Tho I suppose I do say "spendy" rather than "pricey" sometimes... - Ed.]
Ahh, so peaceful...
Ughgh...let the great Kitty Washing Debate 2008 start up again...
That scene in no way resembles any of the cat washing and or flea dipping experiences that I have had. And I was instructed to do all of those actions by my vet. (Wanna see my scars?)
When did Marge Gunderson quit the force and become a plumber?
And look at the belleh! It's lethal!
Kitteh should get one of those flotation pillows that wraps around the neck, and maybe a tiny inner tube. That way he can chill out in the water by himself all day.
As someone who's always bathed her cats, I can attest that this kitty looks calm and comfortable. Like it's about to float away on a sea of clouds. *cue angels on harps*
Oh yah, you betcha dat's a Minnesota plumber.
Uff da! Dat's one cute cat!
Kitteh: "Wow Marge, dats feelin kinda good, now if'n you move a bit left, ahhh, that's the spot; feels real... wuh, I think I am getting a...is the bed made Marge?
Incorrigible.
Then stop incorriging them. Heehee...
[So you've read that JFK book, then? Profiles Incorrige? It's on my list... - Ed.]
Oh what could be cuter than those pink toes covered in bubbles!!!!
It's as simple as something
that nobody knows
that her eyes are as big
as her bubbly toes...
The cat thinks: "Yeeessss, I have lulled you into complacency with my calm outward demeanor, but tonight, tonight you must sleep...."
HOW!?????
My cat virtually maims me if I try bathe him in the kitchen sink!
Proof: http://youtube.com/watch?v=efFITQqkDTI
At least in the bath tub he can rebel without me running danger of, well... dying.
So however you managed to get this cat to RECLINE (!) in the water - has off to you!!!!
As a cat rescuer of many years standing, I have always made it a practice to bath them when iI get them home - then I feed them wtih something really delicious. They are so happy to connect the food with the bath, that they don't usually kick up a fuss.
BUT, I always put down a towel in the bath so they do not slip on the bottom. I use Neem shampoo - it really does make a difference to their attitude because with ordinary anti-flea shampoos, I think their skin is irritated, whereas they r-e-l-a-x when the Neem comes into contact with the fur and skin.
I use the hand shower running slowly to wet and then rinse them.
Funnily, the part they don't like is being wrapped in a towel and being rubbed (gently) dry.
This is where I have to watch out for being scratched.
I only bath them when the weather is really hot - it cools them down and I then brush them well afterwards which they love.
They get catnip and other food treats to make it a positive experience.
But I have to say that this kitty is really special!
Awww... love how this kitty looks as happy and relaxed as a person in a nice warm bath. Adorable!
Does it appease the nuffers from the last "kitteh in water" post. :P
Bubbly toes are the best! now I understand that Jack Johson song! ha! This kitty looks like my Gizmo, but much calmer. :)
Awwww... How Tweet...
Those little jellybean toesies are just asking to be kissed...
Just adorable.
OMG! The hovertext! NTMTOM you kill me!
Hrbls!
Whrbls??
...where the women are strong, the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.
/loves me some Prairie Home Companion.
Thrbls!
Well, try not to strbls.
This looks like a really sweet kitten.
Well there's yer problem, right there!
Ah, Young Frankenstein reference! I love Theo and Mike! Would you like a roll in the hay?
[Sorry, too busy puttin' on the RHIHHHHHHHHGHTZZ. Oopa doobah! - Ed.]
I was thinking more Brainerd than St. Cloud. St. Cloud is where you go shopping from Brainerd, unless you want something really special and have to head to the Cities...
Oooh, I'm *special* then!
What hump?
My Georgie has never minded a bath and in fact will demand that the bathroom sink be filled to his specifications for splashing and wading. We think he may be part otter.
...and people in northern michigan talk like that too doncha' know.
