Yeah, the 'safe' one is hysterical. Dogs are always so pathetic at bath time, but this pugster takes the cake.

Sad thing is, no matter how much you wash that thing, the ugly is not comin' off!

Ree -- I think so. Yes.

Theo

Generally not a big fan of puglettes but... these pictures touch the big-fluffy-towel-and-bicuits-and-warm-meelk part of my soul. Anybody else familiar with this feeling?

Having just returned from umpiring a little league game, the second one is PERFECTO (though Ree's version is also teh awesome).

I miss Marty Feldman.

It's like Buster Keaton taking a bath or something, and that smile of relief in pic 3 really gets me! :)

So cute!!!!! That's totally my dog in the bath too, it's amazing how dogs make you feel like a monster for washing them even if they just rolled in a dead pigeon. The little feets slipping against the bathtub, hee hee!

@Ree: You just made my week. Seriously. Be proud.

Ummm. What the heck is that in the right side of the picture?

Is that another pup? (otherwise why not use a sink) or is that daddy's leg?

This is proof of reincarnation. Marty Feldman came back as a whole species.
And BWAH! for Ree.

Can someone 'splain Ree's picture to me? I feel dum.

(I'm guessing it's from a movie I haven't seen or something like that.)

Where do I begin? Every picture is a total CLASSIC. Though I might be partial to the second. Look at those little arms! I'm gonna nom nom nom away.

Kimbunny
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 03:23 AM

Ree -- P.S. Growing up, my sister's name was Anne Marie, but I couldn't say it right. She became (and still is) "Ree" to me. :)

Kimbunny
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 03:24 AM

Adorable - but hasn't this been here before? Or at least something similar?

I can't load the puppies page - it errors out, so I can't check.

Ah, thanks, Teho.

Ree, now that I "get it," it is very funny. I wish my boss was this cute (but less damp).

 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 09:11 AM
