Wait, wait, wait. Are you saying if I hadn't been vacuuming and sweeping, this is what I'd find under my couch and behind my media stand? Well, why didn't anyone tell me sooner!?

Either that or it's a big ball of lint from the dryer. Either way, it's sooo tie-tie.

Roosevelt's meeting at Yalta with Winston was delayed because the Russians were Stalin.

(I mean stallin', and yes, I know that's bad--all I meant was Look! Roosevelt's smooshie-faced like Winston!)

I strongly suggest that you DO NOT go look up "duck butter pudding" on Urban Dictionary. O_O

[Um, NObody was GOING to, until SOMEbody SAID something... - Ed.]

brinnann
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 02:03 PM

I tried to google duck pudding, but it obviously didn't turn out so well, as you can see.

Katrina

Is it just me, or does that "dust bunny" seem a little deformed? I don't think that's the best example of kitteh cuteness by far....

ravenqueen
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 02:24 PM

No, not deformed - hair behind his ear is just pushed down - probably by mama kitty washing.

Jorden
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 02:48 PM

Aw, dustbun kitteh isn't deformed! Someone messed with his floofiness, that's all.

 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 02:49 PM

Alice Shortcake
 |  Jun 30, 2008 at 03:19 PM

Oh, urban dictionary. Once upon a time, words like "duck" and "butter" and "pudding" could be used in the same sentence, and a person named Sanchez needing a bath need not have feared the giggles of drunken high-schoolers.

Peg of Tilling, excellent historical reference. Although this li'l fella seems a bit more "T.R." than Franklin Delano. "Speak softly and carry a big cute!"

I need to place him above my computer monitor, and every so often snorgle.

Don't be fooled by the cuteness! Dust bunnies are vicious when they grow up! Stay away from the basement, little dust bunneh kittPr

Stephanie

@berthaservant:
hahaha, "...people named Sanchez needing a bath..."
That was great!

As for the "duck butter pudding" had never heard that 'phrase' before.

As for the floofball...it gets mighty dusty here...but I've never found one of dem under my dresser! *pouts*

I so do NOT want to know what the duck pudding is, thank you very much.

The kitten is NOT deformed, its left ear is just facing the camera straight on.

BUT it does have a small eye infection which is easily taken care of with some epson salts on a cotton ball.

Just thought you should know ;)

Duck & Pudding...

Dulac Duck Yorkshire Pudding
Yield 6 - 8 Dinner Servings

Ingredients
1-1/2 CUPS DUCK GREASE (OR use the drippings from a Standing Rib Roast)
4 CUPS FLOUR
3- 1/2 CUPS MILK
1/2 CUP SMOKED DUCK STOCK (See Recipe) (or use Beef Stock)
2 TSP SALT
8 LARGE EGGS

Method
Add duck grease to a 2" half hotel pan and preheat convection oven to 375F with grease and pan in oven. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until batter is foamy. Remove pan from oven and pour batter in hot oil and bake until golden brown. At least for 20 minutes.

Alternate Method
Pudding can be cooked in a conventional oven at 400F for at least 35 minuets. Pudding should be allowed to puff up and turn golden brown on the edges and risen center.

Plate Presentation
Pudding should be sliced like a New York pizza, served immediately after cooking, and with Smoked Duck Demi Glaze spooned over.

Chef's Notes: OR use the drippings from a Standing Rib Roast.

God love you Betsy for taking such good care of those sweet fluffinesses. They are gorgeous. I have 2 of my own that give me plenty of dust bunnies that just appear! When I get home and see the bunnies all over I say "were you guys wrassling?" They say "noooooo". Liars.
