This is what I love about CO-- the photos are great, of course, the comments (and hovertext) are great, of course, but together, there is NOTHING better. This little kitteh is scrumptious, but what is so giggle-inducing is the little paw pointing the way to the time machine...
Thanks for a great start to the day!

This is my kitteh at 6:56 (precisely) every morning pointing the way to her food dishes with a look of absolute urgency.

"If you don't follow me, cats will die! (Well, I will be famished, but it is almost the same thing!)"

"We. must. do. it. NOW!"

Winni-Pig
 |  May 07, 2008 at 06:26 AM

Oh, kitty, I'll follow you anywhere!

 |  May 07, 2008 at 06:28 AM

I have three leading the way out of bed in the a.m., practically shouting, "Feed us! Feed us! You must get up now!" (that, and gentle nuzzling and pawtapping on my face)

Wow, those are some fantastic whiskerpouches.

This is definately a Dr Who Kitty(AKA David Tennet) and YEppers I would follow him into the time machine.

More blueberry eyes!

 |  May 07, 2008 at 07:59 AM

It's "Tennant", Annie. You must spell it right, lest the ravening fans fall upon you with big pointy teeths.

Theo
 |  May 07, 2008 at 08:02 AM

No, it's "tenant." He lives in my basement. ;)

Theresa
 |  May 07, 2008 at 08:25 AM

Have you looked downstairs recently, Theresa? Heard any weird whooshy grinding sounds that abruptly faded out? Hmm, maybe you should call the EXTERMINATOR EXTERMINATOR EXTERMINATOR...

Theo
 |  May 07, 2008 at 08:34 AM

Argghh..soul being sucked out by those eyes! Damn you marmies. *grab and hug*

When I see a kitty like this in real life, I HAVE to pick it up and cuddle it. It is a requirement.

Fegli
 |  May 07, 2008 at 12:25 PM

And the Doctor finely gets to be Ginger, just not in the way he had hoped. To the TARDIS!

 |  May 07, 2008 at 12:29 PM

Wow. Just. Wow.

If Tom Stoppard and Julie Taymor designed a kitten dreamscape this is what it would be like. (Hovertext by Stoppard).

[Now I *am* flattered. Stoppard, eh? No sarcasm? - Ed.]

I get weird vibes from this pic. Don't know why. I like it!

An adventure with kittens and time travel is my absolute ideal. The only way it can get better is if Rose Tyler is involved.

Sarah
 |  May 07, 2008 at 01:22 PM

That look of intensity is almost too much to bear. This must be Jack Bauer reincarnated as a cat.

"There is no time!"

Can I give a shout-out to Rod Taylor in the 1960 "The Time Machine" film?? He's almost more delicious than the Marmie!!!

(thank you, imdb.com, drew a blank on the last name)

Theresa

Ahh...much cuter than the previous one. It's the look of desperation.

Susan
 |  May 07, 2008 at 06:56 PM

Teho -- no sarcasm. There are no cats in "Hapgood" but they do talk about quantum physics, and there's some quantum in "Arcadia," I think, right? Anyway, no sarcasm. Just me bein' a theatre nerd.

And Gail -- this kitteh is WAY more Eloi that Morlock.

berthaservant
 |  May 07, 2008 at 09:21 PM

Too ... tired ... to google ... quantum physics ... related comments ... must pet ... kitteh...

@berthaservant: If it's a girl, her name must be Weena!

Gail
 |  May 08, 2008 at 02:39 AM

lurkertype - It's good to meet another Heinlein fan on CO! And, yes, that's gotta be Pixel. Not only is this kitty even more heart-meltingly adorable than the previous one, but Pixel could achieve World Peace *in his spare time*. If he wanted to, of course - I mean, he *is* a cat...

This is like something from an ideal life dreamworld, along with those white picket fences and vanilla skies. Makes me want to go back to bed and dream!

Isn't that the kitty from Children of Men?

Kimski
 |  May 08, 2008 at 10:52 AM

I love this kitty appoligies to all teh rabid fans I offended by misspelling David Tennants name ( I plead confusion with learning spanish and and it was late and and I was tired.. Oh heck who cares this kitty is the sweetest and his eyes are saying want to come in my Tardis with me.. Travel the centuries and have fun?

Annie
 |  May 08, 2008 at 07:28 PM

Or maybe are we ALL the Doctor, and this delicious little marmalade morsel is our newest Companion?

Brak_Silverbone
 |  May 09, 2008 at 12:50 PM

Today I think that this little kitten is expressing sympathy to Golden for his/her little Siamese kitten (on clownfish thread). "It's ok, I will stay with you!"

Winni-Pig
 |  May 09, 2008 at 01:30 PM

Brak, that may be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Though, on some level, I hope not. No offense.
