The Scrawniest Neck of All Time

I swear to you People that I did NOT Photoshop this Dewd's neck. I did NOT, he came that way.

Alpaca_by_jaleh

Jaleh A., NOTHING beats an awkward 'n' gangly baby llama with leetle leeps

 |  May 27, 2008 at 09:26 AM

I think they leave their heads fluffy so they don't think they look dumb. Just a theory.
It is like a miniature poodle I had, Cherie, we had to have her get a kennel clip, otherwise she would hide for a week in shame. True story.

Anyone else picturing a cat using that neck as a scratching post?

Deckard Canine
 |  May 27, 2008 at 09:59 AM

It's definately an alpaca. You can tell the difference between them easily by their ears. Llama's have "banana" shaped ears and alpacas have straight ears. Alpacas are super adorable and look ridiculous just after a haircut. :)

Dont worry, when you grow up theyll be flingin burgers while you will be a Bball star!

First, a pun:

I'm not bringing the winter coat, but alpaca sweater.

Second, a suggestion for the name: Dandelion.

Third, a song reference:

I'm gonna ride my llama,
From Peru to Texarkana.

Fourth, I LOVE YOU C.O.!

Khadija
 |  May 27, 2008 at 11:36 AM

Alpacas I've known in southern CA would also keep a little strip of unshorn fleece along their spines to protect from sunburn. While I never got to see them, I imagined them looking as though they had little mohawks on their backs.

 |  May 27, 2008 at 11:39 AM

Johnny B
 |  May 27, 2008 at 03:05 PM

reminds me a bit of when Shaun the Sheep from Wallace and Gromit gets shorn accidentally, and ends up wearing a sweater knit from his own fleece. make Mr. Llama a turtleneck with extra neck!

And once the camera was off, the alpaca's head slowly listed to one side from all the extra weight.

We all need toown pets whose heads look like a bonbori.
