In our household, this usually ends with someone growling, fur flying and much scampering about the house. All in the name of love.

Kittehs are so funny. When I had 2 their "leeck" sessions sometimes declined into a "wrassling match" instead. Some kronsching involved. Occasionally I would dive in to join them.. Now I only have one so she has to leeck me instead. No kronsching allowed.
The last photo cracks me up. "Ugh, I iz dead," sez the kitteh.
Is it me, or does Ms. Primper have TWO TONGUES??? Look at Pic#4 and tell me you guys don't see two tongues!! Nothing wrong with that, just get done with primping in half the time if she does, LOL!!

My babies devolve from kisses to leeks to kronching to wrassling. Then they get thrown off the bed. LOve them anyway.
It's interesting - cats don't seem to realise how cute they are when they stick their tongues out. They use their big eyes and the Silent Miaow all the time, but they never use their tongues to manipulate us!
Maybe because it's inconsistent with feline dignity? But you KNOW it would work.

This is how me and the hubbster spend our weekends. Snuggled up in bed. Canoodling. Awww.
What is it about licking and cuddling that eventually leads to neck biting? Is it a sexual thing? My male cat always goes in for the vampire chomp when my female cat is grooming him. Of course, that eventually leads to wrassling, which then leads to my male cat getting pwned by my female cat. She's a big girl.
Any hypotheses, fellow armchair animal psychologists?

That was definitely my first thought, but then I noticed his habit of biting the crap out of the shower curtain while I'm petting him in the bathroom. Perhaps he'd really like to bite me, but found the shower curtain a more appropriate outlet after discovering that I make awful shrieking noises when teeth are applied to my bare skin?
