Don't cross the kitties.
Why?
It would be bad.
I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?
Try to imagine every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of cuteness!

heh
a local Thai place has "drunken noodles".
I had no idea they were referring to kittehs.

I LOVE the idea of naming a cat "Noodles." Not only is this kitten beige and somewhat semolina-colored, but he is also all SOFT and DRAPE-ABLE and ostensibly WIGGLY and NOM NOM NOM to the NOM.

Also "Noodles" is a funny, funny word.

Awww, the tortie looks like my big baby Brontë when she was a wee one. Now she could probably eat this noodle up!

Berthaservant, just do it. You know you want to. And Bertha would love the company. She'd also contrast quite beautifully with a marmie.

 |  May 22, 2008 at 03:21 PM

Besides the incredibly adorable pose of these bebehs, the pinkness of marmie's nose, mouth and jelly beans is keeling me! And, is that an outdoor welcome type of mat they are lying on?

I think the look on the marmie's face is the definische of contentment. No need for words.

Great. Just great. My favourite Tibetan noodle place has shut down for the summer and now I'm having a major craving for thukpa with puréed chilli.

Thanks, Meg.

Eee! They remind me so much of my two little kitteh sisters - the other is a marmie and the other a tortie, and when they were itty bitty they always slept next to (and on top of) each other in a tiny ball of baby-fluff! Like so: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v34/frostious/pics/HPIM0656.jpg

Thanks Bastet. Always nice to be noticed by the Goddess... :-)

Riika - massively cute pic of your babies.

I have an epileptic Noodle. She's a dilute tortie.
And she's quite delish.

charliewabba
 |  May 23, 2008 at 07:52 AM

OK, I'll bite- (har-har), what is thukpa with or without puréed chilli, Subhangi?
Maybe someone can help you make it?

Katrina
 |  May 23, 2008 at 10:56 AM

The red kitty looks just like mine when he was little... :-)

Holy Cuteness
 |  May 23, 2008 at 10:59 AM

Don't tease me, Katrina. (Besides, I've moved on to Kristin Chenoweth).

[Wasn't she one of the original cast members of "Wicked"? - Ed.]

Bertha, actually, isn't too fond of other cats, so that's the big stall on the new kitty. But we shall see.

Eeep! A tortie!! I'm in love!

Chef Steph
 |  May 23, 2008 at 01:39 PM

Yes, Teho. She was the original Glinda. But my crush extends back to her Tony-winning turn as Sally in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." If anyone knows her, please introduce me.

Annie
 |  May 23, 2008 at 06:19 PM

Thinking about my favorite noodle dish, maybe I could name one kitten "Pad Thai" and the other one "Peanuts"? Puréed chili optional...
Wubbable kittens..."I'm all out of wub...what am I widout you...?" (Yes, I do sound like Elmer Fudd...)

Totalee Puppy
 |  May 23, 2008 at 06:46 PM

They are so FLOPTIOUS! They remind me of what my friend Eric says about my gray long-haired (dust puff) Lulu: "She has bones but isn't using them at the moment..."

Frankie
 |  May 23, 2008 at 08:19 PM

Thank you Theo- you have a remarkable command of the Internet. Thank you.
Now, Berthaservant, about this Chenoweth thing, (you seem a bit fickle, but I do admire your taste).
Ms. C. has major Broadway credits to her name and I am told that she is a doll to work with. Your newest crush has a lot going for her. I didn't mean to tease you any more than the nice writer who was taunting-yes, I'm afraid taunting is the word to use here, about the Marmie kitten.
Best of luck in your K.C. crush and, to be honest, she could do a WHOLE lot worse from what I have witnessed. I'll see what I can do. I wonder if She likes puddy-tats? I bet she does. I wonder if she likes Grad students-aw, who doesn't? She travels a lot, though, remember that.

A courtier to Her Gracious
Majesty..."I do love court intrique..."
Envious of all the admirers for Lady Katrina,
Totalee Puppy makes a petulant remark. A word,
a smile from Lady Katrina are to be cherished...and don't you forget it, Bub!!
