well heck - now this won't be so funny but I did it wrong.

Obviously, the dog wanted to see what a catpuddle tastes like. Judging by his expression in the 2nd pic, he finds it "nomilicious".

Yeah, that second pic is totally "Um, yeah, I was kissing the kitteh, yeah, kissing, thats it..."

Am I a bad person for wanting to nom on both of the pupper's earses?

Theo

This brings to mind SO many sappy song titles/lyrics. "If lovin' you is wrong.. I don't wanna be right." "And they called it..puppy looooove." "I wanna kiss you all ovah .. all ovah again...".. etc.

We have a dog and a cat almost exactly like those two! Used to have a Golden Retriever that learned to play games with my cat. It was interesting watching them figure out how to meld kitteh and big doggy games!

Interspecies foreplay with dog hickies! There ought to be a law against this! (they're both awfully qte, tho)
Happy Friday, y'all!

interspecies snorgling?????

Maybe taken just a little too far!;)

NSFW!!!

That's the sort of thing I expect to see on the Animal Channel or National Geographic.

Plus, that's a little uh, weird considering that they're siblings.

Kim
 |  Apr 18, 2008 at 01:35 PM

I think I've confessed this here before, but I have the same species-gender confusion in my house, too. Nicky (lab/collie male), LUFFS Charlie (Maine Coon-type male). I always tell Nicky that Charlie just doesn't like him "that way"!

Gail
 |  Apr 18, 2008 at 01:43 PM

That's SICK! Do you think I come to Cute Overload for--for interspecies PORN?!? There oughta be a law, I'm telling you. Next thing you know, we'll have little feline-canine hybrids running around with their floofy hair and big beagle eyes and . . . okay, come to think of it, that'd be fairly awesome.

But still! Sick, people, sick! I, for one, am coming down firmly against this kind of perversion.

*fetches tongue from cheek*

Cute and funny. Thanks!

Ancient Puppeh Wisdom: How do you eat a kitten?...one bite at a time. If that doesn't work, get its head good and soggy, and try again. If that still doesn't work, just enjoy nibbling on the ears. :-)

This reminds me of those "We have taken a photo and made some slight alterations in it. Can you spot 3 differences between photo #1 and photo #2?"

Answers:

1. Puppy showing tongue in photo #2
2. Puppy giving "innocent look" in photo #2
3. Puppy ate kitty's eyeball in photo #2

Miss Marple speaks: After studying Picture #1, I now believe that this naive, young Beagle puppeh is being BLACKMAILED by that harlot of a dilute tabby!

She smeared bacon grease onto her fur and on top of her head. Once she coaxed him into this rather compromising-looking position, her accomplice, Bertram Vole, a mouse, and not incidentally, penniless heir to the defunct-20th Century Vole film studio), snapped these pictures.

They used the threat of posting these photos at the Daisy Hill Puppy Finishing School as a means of forcing this Beagle into purloining cans of Tuna, which were subsequently sold over the back fence to other cats.

Vole's intention was to use this money to finance a movie starring this Tabby in a biography of Puss N' Boots and ultimately resurrect the 20th Century Vole studios with Miss Tabby herself as star of all films.

Ah, it is all so clear to me now!

This looks exactly like my baby beagle and my daughter's twenty pound cat. The beagle grabs the cat's collar and rides on the cat's back like a beagle cape. This is pretty standard baby beagle behavior.
