Oh, my fault. I'm still new at this commenting thing, so I may have missed that one!!! Splode, Splosh, Bleen, Snorgle, Pa-sickie (for the record, I thought that was cute, but I am astonished at how much brouhaha that caused. It was a very short video!!!)

Love the Asian girl ads on the left! YIKES!!! When's the new site gonna be up? Are the comments always going to open in an new window?????

Kris
 |  Apr 21, 2008 at 08:21 AM

"Look at that face,
Just look at it,
Look at that fabulous face of yours,
I knew first look I took at it,
It was a face that the world adores,
Look at those eyes, as wise and as deep as the sea,
Look at that nose, it shows what a nose should be!"

(and I fall to the floor)

You have more questions than I have answers for, Kris, but I'll give 'em a shot...
Meg has a great deal more on her plate right now even than usual. The CO site re-design is still in progress, but there's no ETA. The Asian girl ads are on the to-be-addressed list. The comment popup thing can be ameliorated by adjusting your browser settings to open new windows in a new "tab" instead; you might try using the "back door" http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/ URL instead of www.cuteoverload.com too.

Theo
 |  Apr 21, 2008 at 08:28 AM

Thank you for all those answers, Theo! Much appreciated!
I love the site just the way it is, but I am curious to see the new one!
Thanks for the backdoor too! (Ok, that totally sounded wrong, but you know what I mean!)

MARY
 |  Apr 21, 2008 at 02:29 PM

*lol* I figured that's what you meant, Theo, but I couldn't let the cheez wiz go. And yes, I do tend to associate the two sites, so it all melts together (like cheez!!!), especially on CuteTalk (which is still down, bummer).

brinnann

brinnann: I believe Teho was saying something like, "Soy un puppydor, I'm a doxie, baby, so why dont'cha pet me?"

This is the most adorable pup I think I have ever seen. The cuteness is making my head asplode!

To Mods: can you get rid of the Asian call girl ads/mail order bride ads? They're really sleazy and have no place here on C.O.

Thanks for listening!

I linked my boyfriend to this picture, and he said it made him nervous. Why? "I see something that cute, I expect the other shoe to drop any second."
So apparently this pup is nervewrackingly cute.
berthaservant, couldn't she be the Baroness's rival or something? She looks like a Dorothy Doxington.

*attempts to pet puppeh's soft fur*
Dee puppeh's Di eyes... *faints* Goodnite!

Raemie L.
 |  Apr 22, 2008 at 03:13 AM

Christine H -- that probably won't change. HOWEVER, it's perfectly easy now, if you use the "permalink" that the posts always have. It's in the same line as the date stamp; for example:

"Excellent find, Scott C. Princess Di eyes and everything.

"Posted by Meg on April 21, 2008 in Pups | Permalink "

Just right-click on "Permalink" and choose either "Copy Shortcut" (Internet Explorer) or "Copy Link Location" (FireFox) from the popup menu. Safari or Opera might work a little differently, but it'll still be possible... Then you can paste the direct post URL anywhere you please.

OHNOYOUDIDN'T! You've gone and broken every single law out there regarding cuteness. This kind of cuteness should not be allowed. This is INSANE cuteness, and I am going to have to report you to the poleeeesh!!

Susie

The only way it can be more cute is if the picture was taken while she was biting blue toy bone that's half her size.

I just heard Meg interviewed on an NPR program on global warming. Meg confirmed how polar bears are good representatives of the impact of global warming because they're so cute. She further listed the Rules of Cuteness which apply. I knew Meg made our lives better by Cutifying our world, but I had no idea she's leading the charge to halt global warming. Go Meg!

Brinnnan, I think this puppy is SO cute that he put Meg in a cuteness coma. She is no doubt being nursed back to health by the Dream Office staff nurse, a small grey kitten in a starched white nurses uniform.

Might as well shut it down now. Never gonna find a cuter animal pic...

As for the new adoptee -- if it looks just like this one -- just like those paintings on velvet of the big eyed kids-- I'd call him Isley (eyes lee). Congratulations on your new furchild.

This pic is not photoshopped at all. I don't even know how to use photoshop that well. She just has really big eyes - sometimes creepy but mostly cute.
