Rikki actually looked just like this kitten for a while. His tips & ends started darkening up pretty quick, though. It was subtle and slow, and sorta stripey in some spots, but certainly Siamese.

The kitteh episode of South Park was soooo good. I watched it and was laughing my butt off. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are geniuses. Kittehs and South Park = perfect combo.
The first time my golden met a kitten in the vet's office, it was the kitten who did all the snorgling, rubbing its face on my dog's nose and purring, while my dog was mostly WTF and looking at me for assurances.
I wish I had a bebeh kitteh and a doglet to snorgle with .. sigh ..

Friend showed her very large, friendly and sweet dog her tiny new hammie. Pup ate hammie in a single bite. Moral of story:
Your dog is still a dog. It doesn't always know that tiny newcomer you're showing is not treat.

Daphne, the kitten is being introduced while safely in hand, so its not in any risk. I'm sure they won't leave it unprotected until the pets are better acquainted and the dog knows its not food.

As for those with a stick up your arse about various and sundry words remember that words have only as much power as you give to them. If it offends you go read something else. This blog belongs to Meg and only she has the right to object to the language used. We could use the term fanny only to the Brits that is an absolutely different portion of the anatomy altogether.

I was confused for awhile what the offending word was.

On another note: I love the fact that Meg writes captions the way people actually talk, and I think anyone who's frightened by the word "ass" is a giant baby.

Dear Nuffer,
Mamma came off the street and we are fostering her and babies until babies are old enough to find forever homes. As part of the socialization process, babies visit with us for an hour or so every evening, getting used to me, the kids, the dog and life in a home in general. The other 22-23 hours of the day are spent with mom. It can only be a positive thing for them if they get used to dogs and then have the option of being placed in home with a dog. This most certainly wasn't done just for the sake of getting a cute picture, but that was a happy by-product.
And I'm pretty secure in the knowledge that I am able to introduce my doggie to the babies, while assuring he does not eat them--and he has never shown a desire to do so. Just seems concerned about them when they cry and likes to lick them.
