Smffler. S'Muffin.

I will hug her and love her and squeeze her and kiss her and name her George!

Reminds me of my little guy when he was "wittle".

Ehn!

"O" no...I "O"nly hope I don't "O"verstate the "O"bvious when I say that cute and politics prehrbubly will mix about as well as an unshaken bottle of "O"il and Balsamic dipping sauce.

Ugh... so if one of our enemies launches a nuke in our direction it's ok to cry about it? I think we need a president that can actually LEAD and not cry like a baby.

I hope this make u feel better, evil Hellary

So cute. But look at those CLAWS OF DEATH.

How does mama squeeze that out without looking like she got the lower half of her body run through a shredder?

lets stay away from the political game and check the game on those little claws and the mew's of hunger when they come

I am supporting a non-Clinton, FWIW, but I would much rather have a leader who shows emotion than one who shows ignorance or arrogance. I think it's sad when people bash any sign of genuine emotion and call it weakness.

I also believe that it is the sign of a weak mind to make fun of a disliked politician on a bulletin board on a cute-based website. If you hate a particular candidate, there are plenty of newsblogs for you to frequent without venting your spleen here. I'm not calling for censorship, just maybe some appropriateness.

Thank you. Please vote.

Yee Gods I do not want to get political, especially here, my save snorgly numnum cuppycakehaven from the sh*tstorm of the rest of the world but....

I think it's nice that one of the candidates is actually showing evidence of a soul. Emotion is not a weakness - it is a strength. From passion and fear come motivation, and invention, and damned if this country doesn't need one hell of a giant band-aid over all the shit going on. She has my vote.

Pass the kittums on the left hand syde! *huff*

Is it appropriate to vent your bleen here? (Still awaiting entry in the Oxford English Dictionary.)

In the interest of equal time, and to avoid teh CO being torn apart by political dissension, I suggest running a "Separated at Birth" feature with Obama and a cute animal with large ears- maybe a fennec fox?

As for Edwards... I'll have to get back to you.

Anybody watch the Kennedy Center Honors last week? Bush sat in the balcony with Martin Scorcese and Steve Martin and Diana Ross, and he slouched--and I mean SLOUCHED--in his chair, chin propped up with his right hand for the ENTIRE. SHOW. with that damn silly smirk of his on his face. What emotion is that exactly? I'd rather have a president who exhibits a RANGE of clear emotions--at least you know the brain synapses are firing correctly . . . or just plain FIRING. Hillary and this kitten are gettin' MY vote!

In a totally non-political way:
Does anyone else think people are over-reacting? I've only seen this clip online, but it doesn't seem to me like she's crying. Is there more visible in HD?

Kitty has my vote for president of teh cute.

True story: Fr. Malachi Martin, exorcist, was invited to a party in NYC, where Hillary Clinton and Al Gore would be. He said there was such evil in the room (as he had never before encountered) he would not go in.

I'm only telling the truth

I can't imagine how the candidates endure such a schedule-I'd be crying every day (though she didn't even cry) Still, I'm Obama all the way! I'm in NH and it's great to see new voters and non-voters coming out in droves. That tiny baby would comfort anyone!

Well since I didn't watch the whatever-Hilary-was-on I can't comment on the crying or not crying but I do want to call everyone's attention to the kitteh's TRANSPARENT CLAWS and tiny niblets of little ears. Let's focus on what's important. THE CUTE! Thank you.

I'm an Obama supporter, but I don't see what the big deal is with that Hillary clip- when does she cry? She's just talking...

But don't give her that kitty! When she left the Whitehouse, she and Bill just gave Socks (the First Kitty) away! What, Bill didn't have time to look after him anymore?!? Lame.

Pliny
 |  Jan 08, 2008 at 10:55 AM

then there's this-
from the same Sunday Times Article-

"(Buddy, the chocolate labrador, it should be noted, bounded into a road soon after leaving the White House and was promptly run over.)"

-Speak amongst yourselves-

Theo
 |  Jan 08, 2008 at 12:00 PM

Oh, yeah...about Socks and Buddy. They never got along, unfortunately. So, when the Clintons moved to a decidedly smaller place than the White House, the need arose to separate them. Socks went to her personal secretary and Buddy stayed. Now, how many of us have had to make a decision like that? Hm?
When poor Buddy was killed, it was just one of those things. He slipped out and ran in the road. The staff tried to catch him, and the Clintons were as upset as any of us would have been. It's a terrible thing, but it happens.

Is bringing all that up supposed to actually denigrate her character? C'mon.
