My kitty Esme does this all the time, but she is an awful, awful tease. I can't resist petting her soft belly, but as soon as I touch her she tries to chew my hand off. Sometimes I sneak up on her while she's sleeping to get a couple of belly pets in before she wakes up and the claws come out.
