I've never bothered with a bathrobe, just jammies, but now I see why I need one!

The one on the left seems to think it is still playtime. The one on the right is ready for bedtime.

The only thing in the pockets of my bathrobe is old lint. **sniff**

Rarely do I experience pangs of jealousy in the All Things Cat arena. But this... is what I'd rather be doing today, no question, no contest. Want.

Lookit the smug look on the face of the one on the right! And the paw dangling on the other.

I gotta get me some kittens for when winter hits. My jacket needs some pocket warmers.

Kiddo
 |  Oct 19, 2007 at 07:17 AM

The kittens are cute but I'm distracted by the front of that robe.

I'm sure it's just an old robe that's been stained by the wearer doing dishes in it or spilling coffee,

but

it almost looks like there's a light inside of it, warming the kittens.

Like mommy's got a sun for a belly-warmer. Weird.

I had two tuxedo cathot bottles last night. Is it love, or is it the warmth?

I had the headwarmer on the pillow last night, but this is so much more efficient for 2 kitties.

Awwwwwww...reminds me of when I was small - SnowBall had a litter of kittins including a tabby called Tom, and when Tom was very small my dad used to put him in his shirt pocket.
Never had kittins in my dressing-gown pocket, though - WANTS!

4Kits -- ooh, good point... [fixing]

Theo
 |  Oct 19, 2007 at 08:56 AM

Oh I had thought I was so clever wearing a man's old flannel shirt for a robe. Now I see that I was missing bunnehs and kittehs, which explains why the shirt was not as warm as it could be.

*dashes to JCPenney to look at robes*

*takes along several charge cards*

I always wondered what Hugh Hefner's secret was. Now I get it....it's not the robe that attracts the lady bunnies, it's the kitties within that make them squee (and presumably remove their clothes).

Viva the awesome seductive power of the kitteh-robe!

There's nothing better than a bathrobe for toting kittens around. I used to keep my babies in my pockets even when they were well past the age where they could go up and down the stairs by themselves. Believe me, it's a very difficult habit to break.

"[Holds toof-brush in front of each kitten mouf then trots off to bed with pocket warmers]"

That's hilarious! I can't stop laughing.

Why didn't I think of this when our twins were small? Could it be cause it was too warm to wear my robe in July? Maybe I'll try today--never mind that they're six months old now and a wee bit large for my pockets.
