i feel a bit sick now
ok. very thorough cat.
Wax on, wax off.
Are those little red reflectors stuck in his ears? Red glowing earrings? Hmmm.... 'dose are beeeg ears to leeek, thas' fer shure
sweet. kinda icky but sweet. :)
did you catch the follow up vid? :P
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuejitErlk0
Probably TMS (too much science) but the vet told me that's what happens when one of them is getting an ear infection. Apparently, it tastes [GAG] yummy to them. Bleck.
Better than Q tips.
SHLURP.
A face full of ear? Well, to each their own!
Wet willy!
did anyone else catch the tongue hangin' out for a bit in the beginning?. Does anyone know what happened to their hotel key? Get a room!!!! Please!!!
ah, cats and earwax.
i've never told this to anyone, but our cat sinatra (*) absolutely adores my boyfriend's earwax. he'll sneak into our bed in the morning and stand very close to bf, paw curled, until he digs a bit of wax out of his ear and lets sinatra lick his finger. and boy, does sinatra love that.
my boyfriend's earwax is of the brown and sticky type. mine is dry, colourless and flaky, and sinatra has absolutely no interest in it.
there. now the whole world knows.
(* name changed)
Cat: hai, u has a flavur.
Yum! Ear wax!
Bleargh...
Dang, Scy, you said what I was gonna. :( Guess I need to get up earlier.
On another note, got my CO mini pins today!! <3 <3
hanna, TMI. ;P
I think the cat and puppy are sweet. The pup lets the kitty lick him and in the follow up vid they fight, of course.
My mom would say "What are you, going mining in there? Find anything valuable?" ;)
I love how the pup just sort of goes with it. This must be something he's subjected to regularly.
What a sweet cat.
That cat sure does like the earwaxes...
cute video.
I think I like the followup one better when the rubs her face against his. its not a fight though. its a game. and kitteh wins!
duh...
when the cat rubs her face...
you missed a spot...
there is definitely something about cats and earwax... I have to throw my used q-tips in the toilet, not the trash can, or they'll dig them out and drag them all over the house. ewwwww!
I sort of gagged a bit watching this one...not so cute...
yeah, sorry about the TMI.
anyways, if someone still wants to know more, there's a namelink.
CeeJoe....I thought my cats were the only ones who stole Q-Tips. Glad to know my cats are not as freakish as I thought they were :-)
Ha! I KNEW that's why pup was looking all tense in vid #1. Kitteh is like my Kittehs - sweet ear cleaning behavior is just a precursor to headlock and jugular shredding behavior. Kittehs are sometimes eebadooahs, methinks.
I'm in ur ear, tastin' ur wax.
ha. I love the look of resigned submission in this doggie's face. I don't think he dares move.
When I was small we had a cat who went berserk for the taste of human earwax. If you let her, she'd vigorously lick your ears for long periods of time. It was scratchy, wet, and a bit freaky. For some reason, my brother didn't mind it and would allow her. We thought he was a bit weird anyway :)
Dirty!
Heh, my mcpuppersons loves nothing so much as the taste of toesies. He's so happy when I come home for a visit bc my parents won't let him lick their feet. Doesn't bother me so much.
oh you need a warning! that was a bit gross to watch while eating breakfast!
(i'm sure it's cute under other circumstances)
Yeah ok, that first vid was a tad grody, especially in light of a potential infection, but hanna, I think I puked a little in my mouth after reading about the brown earwax offering to your cat. But not to worry about everyone knowing your personal stuff--what happens on CO stays on CO. (heh heh)
Whenever someone posts a YouTube link, I follow it and then get caught up in watching other cute animal videos. I was completely charmed by this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8LXQZ9Mwh0&mode=related&search=
This is a great video of an oversized puppy being repeatedly attacked by the flying kitten of doom. After the kitten runs circles around him, literally flying at him from around corners, the puppy goes a bit nuts and starts running distractedly around. You should watch it--it's one of the cutest I have seen in a long time.
What, no interspecies snorgling tag? Does this not count as a snorgle? :)
Did anyone catch the princess Di puppydog eyes early in the clip as the dog looks at the camera-man with a, "I just live here," look.
Thanks TBlue for that video, hysterical. I needed that after watching the wax licker. Bet that kitta has wax balls.
my kittah will take q tips and hide them around the house in various spots. her favorite hiding spot is inside random shoes. safe keeping, apparently.
TBlue, that video you found is great!! What a hell-raiser that kitten is, and the pup is all "where'd he go? where'd he go? where'd he go?"
Andrew Herron - the second licking kitty vid is hilarious - better than the one here.
tblue- THANK YOU for the kitten/puppy wars - I laughed out loud! I hope the puppeh & kitteh grew up to be best friends.
Haha the second video reminds me of a date I had the other day...
muahah --
Does this date you had the other day have a phone number....? :}
I had a terrier that would spend loooooong periods of time licking the bassett hounds ears. The vet said he'd never seen such clean ears on a bassett! She never got an ear infection so must have done some good.
In re: follow-up video- that dog fights like a cat! I think he's been around cats too long. When dogs want to fight, they both circle around each other. When cats want to fight, (A) they start with agressive licking, and (B) the defender/lickee flops over on his side so that the 5 pointy parts are aimed at the attacker/licker.
Dude. The dog's name is *Jack Bowser*. That is hilarious.
When my cat was a young kitteh (about 3 mo old) I used to wake up with her scratchy tongue in *my* ear! It was very strange. Good alarm clock tho!
"Ur eer haz a flavar"
Kitteh loves to dig into them ears, and puppeh is sitting there with a "How do I get out of this?" expression on his face.
Kitteh obviously reads this as leeking another satisfied customer!
the cat licking the dogs brain is a little freaky, but I've had pets that do this , usually not interspecies snorgling, but they seem to like it (yuk).
BUT the puppy/kitten video is a laugh out loud scream! I LOVE the flying kitten with claws OUT jumping on the poor big old clumbsy puppeh! and the puppeh is all like "what the heck?, where did that come from!" HA! its hilarious!
