We had a brown Lab when I was a teenager. Dad would make a sandwich for lunch, go out to the lawnchairs on the patio, and TRY to eat his whole sandwich. With every bite he took, Caesar's (the dog's, natch) eyes would look more worried, his ears would droop ever lower, until finally only one bite was left ... Dad NEVER finished his own sandwich, in the seven years that Caesar knew what a sandwich was (food!). I have a retreiver and thank goodness he never picks up his dish, for two reasons its got food in it,, he will not eat it without cereal. # 2 he clock his favorite cat Henry And that knnock him out.
