An actual Kaboodle

[Looking thru binoculars] Behold, an ACTUAL Kaboodle, People.

I've heard of them, but never seen one in the wild.

[whisper voice] Amazing.

Kaboodling

Tracey—nice trianglar ear shapes on this species.

They all have the same WTF? expression on their faces.

Oh, and someone knows how to set up a photo shoot. That blanket looks as rich and soft as the kitties.

Oh they are beeyouteefull! And it looks like their pretty blue eyes have just opened. I bet they are still learning to walk too. I love that-watching the kitties waddle with tails straight up in the air (kinda like the ducks!) Can we have follow-up pics PLEASE!!!1!!

Okay, some word nerd adventures (the overwhelming compulsion to determine whether "c" or "k" is preferred for "caboodle" naturally) have led me to this charming place:

enjoy!

HEALTH WARNING: you are advised not to look at this photo for more than five seconds at a time. Longer exposure may cause brain damage, drooling and uncontrollable cries of "AAAAAAAWWWWWWWW!"

Of course, we agree that K-aboodle is the approved spelling for a bunch of K-ittens :-)

This may be one of the softest kaboodles seen live on a blue blanket of faboolousness.

I usually manage to squee silently. Not this time! I literally had to cover my mouth with my hand to stop the sound. I grew up with a male Seal Point Siamese by the name of Maxwell. Such a wonderful breed. His blues eyes killed me softly every day. I miss him to this day .

I just havta share that my own true love, my firstborn, softest calico girl turned 15 yesterday. I love her to pieces but she is preventing me from bringing a new kitt'n into my life....no kittens in 15 years! Waahhhh! I just may have to make her put up with a new Siamese baby...

 |  Apr 05, 2007 at 11:11 AM

If those were my kittens, I'd stick my head into the midst of them and just let their wittle paws smoosh me. They would not scratch me, for they know I mean only to SNORGLE them!

I agree wholeheartedly that this much cuteness should be ILLEGAL!! I'm officially ded from the Qte.

Sissy
 |  Apr 05, 2007 at 11:26 AM

From left to right:

Kitteh 1: What's that over there?

Kitteh 2: Are you talkin' to me? Are YOU talkin' to ME?

Kitteh 3: What? What was that?

Kitteh 4: Something's moving under the blanket! DIBS! *swoosh*

Kitteh 5: Dude you've got something stuck to your butt! *snicker*

A Kaboodle in the wild? Now I have this urge to pick them all up Steve Irwin-style.

"Isn't she a little beauty?"
*mwah*
"Gorgeous!"
*smooch*
"What a beauty!"
*snarf*
"Aren't you gorgeous!"
*snorgle*

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeee!

::splode::

::ded::

Oaklandcat, do NOT, pls, NOT inflict a kitten on your ancient calico. She deserves to have her elder years in peace. Plus, she will keeeeel you and hate you. She may be floofy, but she's got that tortie-tude in her blood. I speak from experience.

Back to squee-ing at the kaboodle! The one in the middle looks like a handful of trouble.

 |  Apr 05, 2007 at 12:16 PM

lurkertype, don't worry, I'm not seriously thinking about it...I am her abject slave and would go to the ends of the earth to please Ms. Elderly Floofiness. (But I love fantasizing about the baby floofers!)

Isnt it "the whole kit and kaboodle", not 'kitten kaboodle"? Nevermind,..Im just a geek.

But cute picture! :)

KITTENS! Luff da kittens!

Best way to get kitten snorgles: Volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter and when the kittens come in, give them kisses on their furry little bellies until they purr their incredibly loud kitten purrs. It's impossible to be in a bad mood when a kitten is shouting purrs in your ear.

Orora
 |  Apr 05, 2007 at 01:36 PM

they look sad and frowning in a way that makes me want to pet them and make them all purry and smiley... especially that little guy making camera eye contact. He's like, "Please, sir, can I have some snorgle?"
