Eeee! Teh QTE! *_*
It's a tubular blue wormy kitteh!
Bleen!
Thing 1?
or Thing 2?
Why haven't I thought of this?
He looks warm and cumfurtubles!
Mikey likes it!
^_________________________________^~!
Omt.
He's al liak, "Comfy." He's gonna fall asleeps in the plooshy sock.
Snuggly tuxie pinky nose!
Because you can't have "caterpillar" without "cat"?
I'll bet it wuz a bandund kitteh cuz it's so teeny and that's one way of keepin' it warmeded when not feedin it...I could be wrong...it loox so cumfy
eeek a kittypillar.....
Kittahs love closed in, warm places
I knit and am usually threatening my cats with clothes if they don't leave my yarn alone, but this is something I think they'd love.
Awww, he's like a little Kitteh Mummeh.
Hee!
Oooh da poor tweet kitty-witty...
Actually I'm betting kitty loves this. Cats have no trouble getting into tightly enclosed spaces on their own. Perhaps this is somebody's Christmas stocking present.
Kitty's name must be.....SOCKS!!!
New Product !!! MOGGY SOCKS !!
Awwwwwwwww.
Oh, now I wants to get one kitteh for each sock in my drawer!
*runs to buy a caseload of socks to accommodate kittehs*
*BOOM* That's the sound of my spleen exploding from laughing so hard.
Self: (shows picture to cat) LOOK! I could put you in a SOCK!
Cat: Suuuuuure you could. (walks away, smoothing whiskers)
I have those socks! And I have a kitteh that looks like that! She likes to cuddle the socks, but I don't think she'd be as blissful as this kitteh while inside the socks.
I don't think the question is so much WHO put the kitteh in the sock, but HOW they put the kitteh in the sock? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.......
My question exactly.
Sockitty to me!
Um, that looks amazingly comfortable. I wouldn't mind if someone wrapped me up in a giant, (clean!), sock and let me lay around and nap for the day.
I live in nyc and moms push their babies around in strollers wearing little slumber sacks that look almost identical to the kitty sock- the link has a picture of the baby sleeping sock.

My cat likes to drag my socks around the house and I always wonder if she is channeling back to the pre-rescue days when she was a teenage mother. (Maybe imagining the sock is a kitten.) If my socks had kittens in them we would both be happy!
*Googles moggy*
Oh.
AAAWWWWW! So snuggly buggly warm & cute!!!!!
"What you're boyfriend does with your cat when you aren't around".
What makes kitten torture so enjoyable to watch?
So I'm the only one voting "cute or sad"?
[looks around expectantly]
But he's trapped in there, people!
[slinks away]
The first thing this made me think of (after "Aw" and "Ahn," &c.) was this nursery rhyme:
As I was going to St Ives
I met a man with seven wives
And every wife had seven sacks
And every sack had seven cats
And every cat had seven kits
Kits, cats, sacks, wives
How many were going to St Ives?
Leslie -- pawses and clawses. When he wants out, then out shall he pop.
It's an eskittymo!
pheas - ONE!
It's my kit in a sock!
It's my kit in a sock, baby
:-)
(Btw, that was me referencing Titanic on the otter post. For some reason only the first three letters of my screen name posted. However, I really don't think it matters--my screen name meaning is so totally obscure that I don't think anyone would know the difference :-).
I agree with Leslie and sadiesauce, people this isn't a nice thing to do to the kitten....
I don't think that kitty is happy. :( Cats hate being trapped.
Oh thank goodness.. I feel better now..p.s. Sarah the nuff.. kitty is asleep..
'pends on the kitten, Betty. Last night I dropped a big old floor-pillow on top of Mr. Bounce, who was trying get Mon Schmoop & me to watch HIM on the couch, rather than the TV. Again. Always. Happypaws happypaws claw prickle sharp.
Anyway, pillow goes kerPHLUMP, cat looks a bit vexed, but then just resigns himself, gets comfortable & stays there... for 30 minutes' worth of "House." Not a heavy pillow; he coulda wormed his way out anytime. But nope, he was just that lazy.
help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help. help.
.......help?
This was actually the method we used to corral our first cat when we took him to the vet to be neutered (it was like he had a premonition of what was going to happen and wouldn't come near us or the carrier of his own volition.)It took both of us to get him in the sock, and when he got out at the vet's he was maaaaaaaaaaaaaad!
*Some* cats don't like being trapped. Some cats will actally knot themselves under several layers of heavy blankets and then purr loudly enough to wake the neighbors.
that looks mean! --Nuffingham
sometimes I used to put butterfly hair clips on my cat & see how long it took him to get them off (like 5 seconds)...so you know, peopls in glass houses.
I don't see the unkindness, really y'all. :-)
That kitten looks soooo comfy and fast asleep, and just happy, not "cute or sad". I have some furry socks like that, and they're very stretchy--I wouldn't be surprised if that kitty fit herself in there, like in a sleeping bag, and took a nice long nap.
Kittennschanz!
Thoughts immediately upon seeing this photo (before reading comments):
1. D'awww, comfies!!!!
2. OMGNUFFPARADE!!!!!!
That would make a good commercial for socks. "Our socks are so comfy, your feet will feel like furry kittens in them"
btw, what is bleen???
