Ohhhhh I am so feeling like that dog right now! Except my ear is not smooshed.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:51 AM

oh that's just how I feel!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:56 AM

Is his head resting on another dog's 'tocks?

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:58 AM

I want to pet the tongue.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:59 AM

Me three. Just, exactly.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:59 AM

that's me right now. in pup form.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:01 AM

It's a darn good thing he's got that friend to lean on!!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:07 AM

I'm so there. My cat peed in my shoe this morning. My Birkenstock.

Of course, not expecting feline urine to be IN my shoe, I just put it on. Bad move.

I had to rush around and find another pair of black shoes, and the only ones that would look semi decent with the outfit I have on are summery. Like- might as well be barefoot. So, the pee-soaked sock wasn't an issue, as I didn't have to put a new pair of socks on.

I went to the car and realised DH had driven his car today, in which was my parking permit. So I dropped my son off at high school and raced down to DH's school to get my permit. While there, I was blocked in by a school bus and some stupidly bad drivers. After I got out of that mess, I stopped to get my coffee.

In the time between leaving my house and retrieving my coffee, I realised that it is BUTT COLD outside, so I bought some socks at the grocery store. They look good with my outfit. My shoes look good with my outfit. The sock and shoe combination makes me look like I should be sitting on a beach in Florida, waving my cane at whippersnappers and crabbing about my lumbago.

My 'tocks are against a fence.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:12 AM

OMG pink tung!!!!

:( My Monday sucked too - I had a tummy upset.

I needs a belly rub!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:13 AM

LOL, Dazie! Sorry you had such a crappy start to the day, but at least you wrote about it very well and made me laugh! :)

And that is one adorable, chubby pup-pup! :)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:14 AM

Dazie -- thanks for the morning chuckle. I feel for you. I have years like your morning. Luckily, the cat who peed in my Merrells has died (sob!).

Warm chinny on nuther warm tock makes me sleppy.

LOL, Dazie, what a start! I hope the rest of yr. day is better and drier.

WARNING: This may post twice because of puter slackitude.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:42 AM

This morning my cat peed on my jeans. And I don't know when I'll be able to do laundry again.

Like the pup, I have a case of the Mondays.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:48 AM

Yes, and Gus still feels that way about mondays.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:56 AM

I agree, Mondays suck especailly this one the weather is foul, my gout is in full flood, at least the dog has a friend to squish up to

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:13 AM

For all the peeps having a bad day.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:19 AM

(((peeps))) For all the peeps having a bad day.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:20 AM

Yay!!! :) Thanks for sharing that, Meg! :)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:43 AM

Well, my very dear idiot boy cat Motley decided to try to use the box this morning (it's cold).
He never uses a box, just goes outside.
Walks up to the box, stares at it for a long time.
Climbs in slowly and carefully, as if walking on eggshells.
Turns around, delicately squats, and starts to pee.
Then straightens up and sprays the damn wall.
Walks proudly away, having mastered a new skill.

I just want to know whether Saturn is in retrograde, moving into the House of Pee this morning or what?

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:48 AM

Looks like this pup's been talking to Alan Greenspan...

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 08:59 AM

Aw, he look so sooofffft and huggleable.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:12 AM

Thanks for the link, Theo, that was hilarious.

((hugs)) to the peeps with cat pee issues this morning!
I, on the other paw, had no extra messes to clean up this morning! No pee or pooh outside the boxes, and no hairballs! A rare morning indeed, with my 10 lovely fuzzy kittehs.

And I want to see pics of the puppeh whose tocks he's restin' on!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:19 AM

lauowolf- Saturn in retrograde? With all the pee issues, wouldn't it be Uranus?

I slay myself.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:33 AM

I used to hate Lab Mondays, but not anymore!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:34 AM

LOL, Dazie. All the sudden I feel like a regular fashion template, because at least I'm not wearing socks with sandals. (And it is butt cold here as well.)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:35 AM

Ha, Theo - "You could make these arguments, but I do not believe you will, because you are a puppy." [snort!]

Elvis used to pee all over my ex's house, which is how I finally got him back. As my mom said, "You were miserable living with 'ex' and you misbehaved, too." True, dat. Now Elv and I are together and happy, with no pee issues between us.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:39 AM

It's probably butt cold on Uranus, too!

Da-amn about all the cat pee stories! The good news is, _I_ don't have one! ;)

At least it hasn't dampened your sense of humor, Dazie! :)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 09:43 AM

Monday really sucks when you have a law school final.

I'd love to be able to bring in a sleeping puppy!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 10:37 AM

I went to the dentists today.

Nuff said.

My day has been improved by CO.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 10:38 AM

Thank you, jaypo. This peep is having a "bad year." But C.O. helps. And nothing like big dose of "lab tongue" and muzzlepuff folds to make me smile.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 10:53 AM

Taj, that does indeed make for a rotten Monday & I send you all sympathy: got one of those next Monday meself, and being able to bring a puppy would mightily improve the situation. Although, who wants to issue-spot when there's a little pink tongue available to poke and wee furry ears to scratch? Good luck!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 11:18 AM

I have a tummy-ache too Subhangi. I am taking the rest of the day off for rehabiliatative snuggling with my beasties. Oh and CO of course, very soothing.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 11:23 AM

His tongue looks like a rose petal. I want to reach out and stroke the softness. :)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 11:56 AM

What is it with pee issues today? My dog was all excited jumping on the bed this morning and she peed all over the blankets. They're in the wash now.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 12:49 PM

Damn. Now y'all have me paranoid. I gotta check the house for errant pee. Did a memo go out to the pets?

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 01:02 PM

Soft, flappy jowls!!!!! Skin folds!!! The Velvet Dog er, puppeh!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 01:17 PM

Floofy muzzlepuff....super tie-tie puppeh face...I wanna reach out and tickle that little tounge.

I just think there's something so prosh about a super tuckered-out puppeh.

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 03:14 PM

Law final on a Monday! Yikes, I remember those. Which one?

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 03:53 PM

That is so weird, 'cause my Meow-Cow peed on the floor this morning too!!! (She weighs 20 pounds, hence the nickname...) I saw we shoot the person with the memo for all pets to pee somewhere today!!!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:17 PM

And your muzzpuff is resting on another doggies 'tooooooocks!!!! [singsong]

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:25 PM

*awwws* I had one of those Mondays.
*sigh* I'm a teacher.. Mondays always suck!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 06:29 PM

Lauo, I actually giggled until I cried.

I can totally see that!!!

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 07:01 PM

I had Bioethics today, and due to my failure to consider the finals schedule in making my class schedule, I have an Evidence final tomorrow. Sadly, they don't baby us 2L's as much as they did for us as 1L's, and make sure our exam schedules were ideal. Live and learn ;)

 |  Dec 04, 2006 at 11:33 PM

Awww SCHWEET!! Love the pink tongue!!
