OMG! It does not get cuter than this!!
Oh my word, how precious is that?!?!?
oh, i love this! my husband sent the link to me a few weeks back.
that is too adorable!
Ah!!!
So cute!!! So heart tearingly, stomach tweakingly, soul touchingly cute!!!
The monkey pets the cat just as a human would do!
*breaks down and sobbs*
OWE. MYE. GAWD.
I don't know if there exists two better things in one picture. MONKEYS and KITTINS.
Oh My God. So. Cute.
Thanks for making my day.
Not so cute, to me. Dirty kitty, dirrrrrrrty monkey.
Yuk.
OH. *dies* I would expect a monkey to annoy the bejeezus out of a kitty, but look at the petting! And the contented face. So darling.
I think they're anerable!!! They look so comfortable together...and it almost looks like the little Monkey is looking out for the little Kitty... It just shows that your Friends come from the most unsuspected directions...
absolutely beautiful. The gentle hands of that monkey show how much it cares for the kitten. and that kitten does look genuinely happy.
Obviously an unposed (contrived by humans) photo and that makes it priceless.
BESTEST BUDDIES
They're poster animals for interspecies harmony! Now if only people could get along that well...
Oh my gosh, that is the best thing ever. Totally heart-melting.
I want to go and live there with them.
Do you guys think Theo is going to post here today?
the first and last pics are the best - but out of those two I don't know which I like better. that's SO cute. i love how they're the same size, too. hee hee
i can't imagine that theo wouldn't post. he'd probably post even if he were deathly ill and could hardly move. heh heh :)
These thoughts just pop into my brain - the "too much free time" section of my cerebellum. Here goes....
This picture makes me wonder.. does the monkey consider the kitten as HIS pet? Just speculating - does the monkey, being higher on the evolutionary scale, see the cat as something he would be superior to?
I recall seeing pics of a gorilla or some other large ape that took a cat as his "pet".
Anyone, Bueller?
I really hope that Theo posts here today ... i look forward to reading his posts everyday! They really brighten up my whole day!! Who else agrees with me?!
Oh fer pete squeaks...
Best picture ever. Better than Kittens in Tea Cups. Better then stretchy snails. Better then Hammies with peas! Bestest picture ever!
oh, that is the cutest thing i have seen all day... except for sunbeam kitty.
Normally monkeys squik me out (one threw a mango pit at me while I was visiting a zoo in Manila...funny story) but this is kinda cute!
Hi Theo! I am a huge fan of CO and i really like your posts! I think they are very original and funny! I just wanted to let you know that :)
btw ... the monkey is really creepy!
The top and bottom pics are cute, but the middle one makes the monkey look kind of freaky.
THANK YOU, Meg Frost, for making my whole entire week! These pictures are so cute my eyes are all squinty and my voice is super high-pitched right now. Monkeys throw my cutedar totally out of whack. Brilliant!!!!!!
But the kitty's eyes in the second photo are amazing!
(And what is this? Suck up to Theo day? ;)
I'm a monkey fan and a cat lover, so this was an absolutely yay post for me.
TGIF, indeed. Yay. Kazzle rocks for recognising a genuinely sweet photo opportunity.
O M G How Sweet Is That
AuntieMame - you can't knock a girl for tryin' right ;) Plus i'm not being a suck up .. i truely do like Theos' posts ... they make me smile :) Thanks Theo!!
I don't even have the words........I think you need to just shut CO down now Meg, there is no hope for finding anything cuter than this. You have reached your peak with this series!
Imagine all the critters
living life in peace...
I want to fall in a big puddle of fluff right now...
kaYOOOOT!
MJ -- I can see how you'd think that. Heck, *I* thought that, right about when this went up:

...and then there was this:

...and then, y'know, etc.
WUh-UV!
ahh good ol Malaysia... :)
Theo, very true. This is a recurring thought. I guess it is an impulse thought. Like, "ohhhhhhhh nothing cuter!!" and then the next one comes along...
Theo those are great pics! I loved those cute lil kittens! I squealed out loud and the whole office just gave me a strange look! This one reminds me of my bundle of love at home Kirby! He wakes me up with his warm squishy nose every morning ... ahhhh what a wonderful way to start out the day!
I should put that next to something evolution-based. I don't know why, but it would feel appropriate(ly cute).
pat da kittee!
eeee! eee!
I hate to be a buzzkill, because these photos really are mind-numbingly cute, but I can't get over the feeling that someone is about to eat someone. My bet's on the monkey.
That cat looks like she's strutting its stuff in the second and third pics. Either that, or she was freaked out, I can't tell...but it's very cool. And the first pic is so cute...yay...
This takes me back to the question of, "why can't different species mate?" Well, whatever the reason, it is great birth control for the cat and the monkey!
owen and mzee are proud of these guys.......http://www.all-creatures.org/stories/a-tsunami.html
That Middle One Looks Like He's Defending His Monkey Friend.....:Hey; You Gotta Problem Wit This"
The second picture looks like the kitty is saying:
"My monkey! Mine{Go find your own."
So cute!
Pat--
Koko, the gorilla who communicates by sign langauge, has had a couple of cats. The first was a yellow guy (Lipstick, I think) who got hit by a car. Koko said he was sad. There are a lot of pictures of them cuddling.
Yay! More monkeys pleeeaaassseeee!!!!
I love these pictures! Its so cute to see animals become friends and play with each other..It like WAMRS my heart. Thanks for this! made my day :D
BFF!!
