I can't believe it, but SOMETHING made me type "Hedgehog swim" into Google image search, and I STRUCK GOLD! Look at "Bam Bam", the adorable Hedge, getting his Park and his Bath on. Good Lo'.

And after a lovely day at the park, it's: "Calgon, take me awaaaaaaaaaaaay! glurgle glurgle"

Thank you, Deepcity.org!

finally some hedgehog cuteness! i don't remember seeing a lot of hedgehogs getting featured here before. :)

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 12:29 AM

I hope hedgehogs aren't like their German cousins Igles. You could hear the things eat twenty feet away.

they absolutely are as noisy as those Igle things you mentioned. Hedgehogs used to come eat at the binbags beneath my bedroom indow when i lived in the town, and it sounded like a hoard of pigs eating another hoard of pigs alive.

re post: so cuuuuute!

::goes to park to find hidgehog::

here hidgehog, hidgehog...

This is the sort of picture which is so cute i could cry. Brilliant!

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 08:02 AM

Reminds me of my little boy. He doesn't like water at all, though. Not even a little bit to rinse his paws off. I do now wonder if he could swim, though. (Not that I'd try it ...)

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 08:16 AM

I hate that I know this, but that top picture is exactly the shot and park that you see in the opening credits of naseatingly-cute sitcom Full House. I'm not sure if that makes the picture more or less cute...depends how you feel about Bob Saget.....

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 08:32 AM

omg - the wittle bambam is swimming - too cute - i want to eat it up.

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 09:05 AM

Of course it's the Full House House! I declare that every hedgehog who sets its adorable foot in the city of San Francisco must pose in front of the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square!

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 10:05 AM

YAY for hedgehogs. Seeing the pics you posted on here a bit ago made me want to get another-they are awesome SUPER CUTIE pets :)

He looks like Spiny Norman of Monty Python fame!!

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 01:25 PM

My hedgie HATES the water. I need to bathe her a lot because she lost a hind leg with her previous owner and her little behind drags a bit. Whenever I put her in the sink her legs start moving like she wants to run, even though I am holding her by her belly and her feet aren't on the ground! It's so adorable in a "aww poor baby" way.

 |  Feb 09, 2006 at 01:31 PM

Thanks for the photo links - these animals are the epitome of cuteness!

The photo in the park was taken in SAN FRANCISCO in Alamo Park. It's on all the postcards. It's the perfect backdrop for this very extry cute guy.

It seems that *real* hedgies have stolen Sonic the Hedgehog's spotlight, eh? Real shame, cause Sonic is pretty cool...
