Hi Chickees,
Earlier this week we were approached by a producer of a small
independent film in which the main character is a knitter. They are
looking for finished or unfinished projects to decorate his
apartment with. That is where we come in! See below for more
details.
They also need extras to be in the movie so if anyone is interested
in getting their 15 minutes of fame, now is your chance! :) We will
get more details as far as dates they need to have the projects by,
etc... as soon as possible.
Happy Knitting!

Hello knitters! I'm producing an independent film in San Francisco
in which the main character, Paul, enjoys knitting. "City on a
Hill" is an absurd comedy set in the Bay Area protest culture - a
satire about revolution, both political and personal.
We are in need of some finished and half-finished knitting projects
to decorate Paul's apartment with. We can arrange to pick them up
at one of your meetings, or an otherwise easy location for you.
Whatever you have would be great - let us take your old works-in-
progress off your hands.
We're also in need of extras throughout our shoot between Aug. 20
and Sept. 15. Not just knitters, but protesters and other roles.
All ages, ethnicities, shapes and sizes welcome.
As an ultra-low-budget film, we need as much help as we can get. We
have some cast and crew members coming in from out of town, and are
still looking for friendly people, supportive of independent film,
to house them for a while. We're also looking for donations of food
for our cast/crew lunches and the Screen Actors Guild-obligated
snack table (I know right...) I'd be happy to answer anyone's
questions - feel free to call me anytime. Once you learn a little
more about our little protest movie and our efforts to lower the
environmental impact of filmmaking, you'll be glad you did.
Thanks!
